The TransPyrenees Race is a new self supported ultra distance cycling event produced by Lost Dot, the team behind the Transcontinental Race. Mike was designing this race back in 2016, his vision was to create a race that would award the most adventurous, providing opportunities to beat the clock by facing the most demanding terrain.

A mixture of Control Points, Parcours and some set route will guide riders though 1500 km of the most spectacular and remote scenery in the Pyrenees from the Bay of Biscay to the tip of the Cap de Creus in the Balearic sea and back again.

Starting in early October 2019 (the provisional date is 04/10/19 TBC) the route could take the fastest a long weekend while the closing date will be the following Friday. The climbing will be considerable, this is definitely one for the grimpeurs!

More details will be released between now and early 2019 via our social media channels, with the opportunity to sign up coming after Transcontinental Race No.7 places are awarded in January 2019.
